Overview: describe the kind of repetitive thing you have to do and the benefit of automating it?

This application will convert files in a Google Docs directory to HTML that can be displayed on the HFLA Website.

Ownership of Idea

I will be working on this automation myself

Current State: Is this just an idea, or has any work already been done to build it?

WIP

Languages or frameworks used?

Google App Script, eXpress, JavaScript, Jest

Platform?

Unix

Automation triggers: What starts it? What's it responding to? Time or event based?

Scheduled job, every 15 minutes or so, or on demand. By default, will only convert pages that have been updated since last conversion. On demand, it can convert all.

How much manual or custom input is required?

Minor configuration of input and output directories and credentials.

Output: What's the desired result? What do we not want to see?

A web page accessible from the HFLA website that looks the same as the Google Docs.

Project size: rough estimate of effort and time needed to build it

One to two weeks hopefully, one person.

Stakeholders and Impact - who benefits and how?

All developers and reviewers of HFLA manuals.

Resources/Instructions: Has any documentation been created yet?

Yes. See https://github.com/ethanstrominger/html-markdown-googledocs-conversion/blob/main/README.md

Action Items/Research Needed

I would like to move my repository to a repository within HfLA.
