ngx-restangular still being maintained? Community fork?

Is this repository still being maintained? I'm upgrading a project heavily uses ngx-restangular from angular 5 to 14. I can see there's an open pull requests that add support up to angular 12 but it seems like this repo hasn't had contributions or any PRs merged in a few years. Is there a community fork that's taken over? If not I'd also appreciate if anyone has suggestions for similar packages or built in angular 14 functionality that replaces functionality of ngx-restangular.

There are some forks that support angular 16/17 but I'm unable to build them without npmjs:
