I actually can't reproduce this in 2025.2. The linked commit is not yet merged in 2025.2 version, but probably will be included in the next major version (or even earlier?).

So, it seems to me that this need to be fixed but only for the future versions of IntelliJ. We could (and should) make a release for 2025.2 without this. Or is is known if something related to JDK installation is broken in 2025.2?

If JDK installation seems to work it should be okay to do the release, the CHANGELOG.md file and version number should be updated and a PR of them made
