I want to thank Anduin2017 from the bottom of my heart for creating this LINUX DISTRO, so beautiful, light and functional, I installed it on my work machine, I'm loving it, quick installation in 1 minute and a half, I've never seen anything like it, excellent interface, when AnduinOS was born, do you intend to keep it? and update it frequently forever? Leave this distro like this, as it is, clean, light, beautiful and functional, even if you release other versions like Server and Professional ANDUINOS is the best LINUX experience, where are you from? God bless you! Hugs and Success |

昨天在DistroWatch网站看第一次了解到AnduinOS,看起来不错,就下载体验了一下。后面仔细了解了一下,才发现作者也是中国人,还在微软苏州做.NET开发。我也是做.NET开发的,支持一个。 |

Thank you for your continued interest and support for AnduinOS!
Following the recent release of Ubuntu 25.04, we are excited to announce that AnduinOS 1.3 officially launched today, aligning our lifecycle closely with Ubuntu.
AnduinOS 1.3 is a significant and transformative update, featuring GNOME 48 and Linux kernel 6.14. After extensive testing and optimization of our modifications to Ubuntu, nearly all features have stabilized and are now ready for final release.
In this latest version, we've incorporated considerable feedback from our community. The most notable change is the inclusion of a new application store based on Flatpak. By default, this store will not include any pre-installed applications, maintaining a clear distinction: we use apt and deb packages to manage core system components globally, while Flatpak will handle user-installed productivity applications.
For those users who prefer not to utilize Flatpak, it can be easily removed.
Additionally, we're currently exploring the possibility of launching dedicated Server and Professional editions. The proposed Server edition would ship without a graphical user interface, ideal for server environments. The Professional edition, targeted at advanced users who prefer traditional Linux package management, would come without Flatpak pre-installed. These plans, however, are preliminary and we welcome further input from the community.
AnduinOS remains a personal passion project maintained solely by myself, currently without a defined commercial direction. Any future developments regarding commercialization will be promptly shared through our news channels. Please stay tuned for further updates!
Thank you again for your support. Your engagement and feedback are invaluable as we continue to develop AnduinOS.
