I know I am kinda blazing a new path with this effort, but at least one other user allegedly had success with this. Success with this specific SFP stick and firmware version. So perhaps there is some subtle step that is failing to mention, he has been frustratingly vague.
I have the DFP-34X-2C2 in a TP-Link media converter, which really is just a two port switch. I have configured the OMCI information, OMCI version (0xA0), Hardware version, Software version (1,2), Serial Number and PLOAM password. The end result being that it appears I can get the OMCI hand shake to state O5 and everything seems to be correct (I do have a hex log dump of this if it needs to be peaked at). The problem is, I cannot get a DHCPOffer response from my ISP on the configured VLAN or otherwise. There simply isn't any packets coming back.
