Srollbar indicator takes the color of adjacent components when "cramped"

I can share code if that would help, but here's a couple of screen shots that show this behavior:

Above is the expected behavior, the scrollbar indicator is white. Below is the unexpected behavior, when I scroll away horizontally, the vertical scrollbar indicator seems to "clip" the column and shows with the same color as the rows it's adjacent to.

Does anything ring a bell here on why this might be the case?

Well looks like I just answered my own question:

/// @brief Display a vertical scrollbar on the right.
/// Colors follow the content.
/// @ingroup dom

Colors follow the content.

Would suggest that this might be expected behavior?

I donr't know why I wrote this. We are indeed writting "over" the element below. So we take their foreground/background color.

If someone has an idea how to fix it, I am happy to merge it. Most likely, we can make some scroll indicator alternative function specifying the color?

I think an alternate function with a color argument would work out well. I'll give that a try when I find some time, thanks!
