[Feature Request]: Automatically link button to git repository

Describe the feature you'd like

Make the button automatically detect the public github repository of our project, if there is none then it will not display any button. Make it easy for us not to always change the github repository url when opening different folders.

Hey! Someone already asked for this feature, and I denied it, here's why:

1. Some projects may have multiple git repository
2. Some projects may have multiple upstream/origin urls on the same git repository
3. Some projects uses proxy/ssh and thus don't expose the public url of the repo, meaning that I would have to use a custom detection for github, gitlab etc., e.g. all existing websites, and I really don't have the time to do so currently
4. As this could expose private information, it would be disabled by default, meaning that you would still need to configure it per-project

However, I don't really understand why you have "to always change the github repository url when opening different folders", because the buttons urls and text are already saved on a per-project basis. 🤔

Are the url and save buttons saved per project? If that's the case there seems to be something wrong with mine.

Weird, but I'm glad to hear that it works now 😄

Ah... For the original request, I don't think I need it anymore because the link button is already working properly.

Not for now, but feel free to open another issue with that so I can track it, and I'll see to add it in a future release!
