Hi @j-adegun, Thank you for reaching out! We currently try to find support (i.e. funding) to add proper methods for ECR modeling in WarpX (extended ionization physics, advanced embedded boundaries, etc.). We had some of this in Warp in the past (cc @dpgrote @jlvay) and there is also renewed interest at CERN to model ECR with PIC (WarpX). If you have time to contribute or funding opportunities we can together apply for, please let us know (feel free to shoot us an email as well). In short: yes, we are interested in that, but it cannot super easily be done just right now to be productive. @dpgrote if you like to share your ECR example that you developed recently publicly we could at least add that as a working draft already in the examples and improve on it later? |

Hi @ax3l , Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately, I do not have any funding at the moment, but I will keep this in mind and get back to you if any opportunities arise. |

Hi there,
I have just installed and started learning Warpx, and I was wondering if anyone has used it to model and simulate electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma. An ECR plasma involves using RF and a magnetic field to generate plasma from a gas. Suggestions on how to set up and model the problem are welcome and highly appreciated. Thank you.
