Adding support for using zarr-python v2.x means that we can use this in environments with packages that still use zarr v2 (e.g. omero-cli-zarr or ome-zarr-py)
We may not need to merge this - better to focus on updating those packages.

v2.18.11with various images from #13Worked with all except
python register.py --target 21520 s3://gs-public-zarr-archive/CMU-1.ome.zarr/0 --nosignrequest
