Welcome to Generate! Developed by the Center for the Integration of IDEA Data (CIID), Generate is a software application designed to improve data quality and automate reporting for state education agencies (SEAs) through standardization. Generate helps SEAs enhance their data use and reporting capabilities to better support administrative and policy work, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes for students with disabilities and their families.
- Open Source: Generate is available under the Apache 2 license at no cost to all SEAs and is installed within your state’s environment.
- Automated Reporting: Simplifies and automates the reporting process for IDEA EDFacts and the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR).
- Enhanced Consistency: Promotes data consistency across states, ensuring high-quality and uniform IDEA data.
- Efficient Submissions: Supports timely and efficient reporting and submission of EDFacts data to the U.S. Department of Education.
