Use Case Title
Add MEP Session Type (000187) to the K12StaffAssignment table

Use Case Overview
Add Migrant Education Program Session Type (000187) to the K12StaffAssignment table in the IDS, to the corresponding class in the Ontology, and to an appropriate Dim table in the DW.

Use Case Background
Michigan collects data about whether a staff member’s assignment is part of the Migrant Education Program’s summer session or regular school year. Right now, the CEDS model only includes this information at an organization or program level rather than at the assignment level. We have need to collect it at an assignment level because a person can have multiple assignments with an organization during a time period and not all of them are necessarily related to the Migrant Education Program.
