Logarithmic scale does not work in vertical cross plot

Describe the bug
This bug was originally reported by user "kkkghs0828" on CMAS Forum.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open VERDI GUI
2. Load this dataset under /data/model/2011ek_cb6cmaq5.2_wrf3.8_zero_Inox.CONC.O3.NO2.wndw.20110728_1
3. Double clicked on "NO2(PPM)[1]" then click on "Vertical Cross Section"
4. Click on "Configure" >> "Configure Plot" >> "Color Map"
5. Change "Scale" drop down menu choice from "Linear" to "Logarithmic", then click on "Rebuild" and "Apply"

Expected behavior
We expect to see the 'Vertical Cross Section' plot and the color legend change from 'linear' color scale to 'logarithmic' color scale.
But the plot did not have any changes, no error messages show up either.

Reproduced this issue with VERDI_2.1.6_linux64_20241120.tar.gz build, confirmed that this issue has not resolved.

No changes on the plot, no error messages showed up.
