NVIDIA drivers aren't getting loaded despite kernel-cachyos-nvidia-open being installed

Not sure if this is the place to put this, but title, DNF says that kernel-cachyos-nvidia-open is installed, but when I run "lsmod |grep nvidia" after rebooting, it doesn't say anything. When I check the version of the nvidia driver, it says I'm on 575.64.05, which should check out based on the contents of kernel-cachyos.spec, but it still falls back to the Nouveau driver. When blacklisting the nouveau driver, SDDM doesn't start, neither does Hyprland. I've tried manually rebuilding the initramfs with dracut to no avail, and I don't understand what isn't adding up. Using a 4070 Ti Super on Fedora 42 which should support the open source modules, I've gotten them working before, so I don't understand why it doesn't work. Help on this would be appreciated, many thanks.

Fixed by enabling the RPM Fusion repos (most likely an optional step, but I'm not testing it, it works, and I'm not going to test it until it doesn't) and then manually removing and then installing kernel-cachyos-nvidia-open again (dnf reinstall does NOT work here, at least to my knowledge, I didn't try, but because no dependencies get reinstalled, I'm going to assume it doesn't).

Hello. The reason is that the Nvidia-open package in our repo is just the kernel module but in order to use the driver you need userspace libraries too which are found in the rpmfusion repos.

Okay, so the issue is back now, and again, there's probably a better place to put this other than this GitHub repo because this is probably a setup issue, but even when enabling the RPMFusion repos, it still falls back to Nouveau. The only way I've gotten the NVIDIA drivers to load is disabling secure boot, but that's not exactly ideal because I'm dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora. I've read that you have to sign the NVIDIA kernel modules but every guide/forum thread is about the akmod-nvidia package in the RPMFusion repos, which does not apply, as the kernel-cachyos-nvidia-open package does not use akmods to my understanding. I followed the secure boot setup from this comment: #37 (comment), so I know I'm missing something but "what?" is the question. Help on this would be appreciated, many thanks.
