javadoc states that "@return null if the game has not finished yet; otherwise emtpy array if there is no winners, or non-empty array if there are winners."

"the game has not finished yet" means that there are still gems on the board. If all players die, there must be gems on the board.
So when all players die, should we

• return empty array because there is no winners OR
• return null as there is still gems on the board (game not finished)

Return empty array when all players die since in this case, there are no winners and the game ends.
