Hi @sarahalang - My apologies, but I'm struggling to remember what we discussed and agreed on with regards to what kind of resource you were going to put together. This is currently an 'Event', and I can see why we went for that. However, I think it's best to separate out the videos into separate 'sessions'. If they are all part of the same day, you can add 'part 1' and 'part 2' to the session titles where necessary. With the main image - as you can see in the preview (here: https://dariah-campus-ifunsc1y5-dariah.vercel.app/resource/events/digitizing-the-materiality-of-the-premodern-book#session-0) the white text for the session descriptions is lost in image of the book in the background. We try to avoid using images with text for this reason. However, if you haven't got another image, an alternative option is to add a darker gradient to the bottom of your image to make it darker at the bottom and avoid the clash with the overlaying image from the template. If you have access to some image editing software, that should be an easy fix. Also, as an fyi - the 'publication date' refers to when the resource is published to Campus, so it's always best to hit the 'now' option there. Otherwise it'll get lost further down on page 6 of the site and no one will know it's there (I had to dig to find it!). I hope this helps! We still do have time to get it published before Christmas, but it does need a little more work, I'm afraid. I'll look at the other resource now :) Thanks Vicky |
Hi @sarahalang - my apologies, I've let the ball drop on this one. I'm conscious we've had conversations about this but we haven't progressed. Is there anything you need from me at this point? |
Hi @sarahalang - Please do let me know if you need any further help with this. I see things haven't really moved on since December. Is this because you're struggling to find the time, or is there something I can help you with? - Thanks! Vicky :) |
Hi @sarahalang - I notice that there hasn't been any change to these two resources (this one and #931). We are in the process of moving to a new content management system, and that means that any pull requests that are not completed and published before 27th Jan 2025 will be lost when we flip the switch. I don't want your hard work to go to waste, so if you do want these published, please get in touch as soon as possible and we can work to get them published :). If I don't hear from you, then we'll assume you no longer need these to be published to Campus. Thanks :) Vicky |
@sarahalang - just so that we can keep a track of what's happening where, I'm leaving a note here to say that I have responded to your email from 20th Jan :) V |
Note for @ttasovac and @stefanprobst - this pull request remains open as author wants to continue editing using terminal and markdown, therefore no need for CMS :) |
