  Basic end-to-end encrypted one-on-one messaging. We already have the mates - accounts you have connections too. You can meet them in the space or in many other ways. If you open a list of accounts, you should see the ones you mate and vice versa. So a use may check their graph for timestamped encrypted private messages. To have the clue about them being new we may simply store a lastRead timestamp for any conversation. Start from bare bones and grow organically. Then add pictures, voice messages, files and everything else.

  Certainly we need i18n options for the component system. May be it's about making every single component flexible enough, or the whole system should be configurable so setting the language once all the components will change to the desired language? Or both? 😅
