In Optimex, BTC is deposited and locked in multisig vaults. Each locked BTC is paired with oBTC token that circulates on Ethereum and serves as collateral on Morpho—all within a single transaction. As shown holder list, Morpho currently holds 0.00024 oBTC, backed by an equivalent amount of BTC. Note that The btc vault includes:

Rational
Optimex is a native Bitcoin finance platform offering BTC-backed stablecoin loans and yield solutions using a self-custodial, on-chain protocol. oBTC is an intermediate token that interfaces the BTC collateral with Morpho to facilitate loans on Ethereum.
oBTC is the collateral token in the oBTC–USDC Morpho market. Its price is based on the Chainlink oracle for BTC.
