Description

It would be great to add wayback archive or reveddit functionality to infinity. Sometimes some very helpful posts/comments or even whole users accounts got deleted by reddit or image from imgur(or similar service) but they continue to exist in archives.

So it would be great when there deleted message esspecially that other users thanked for help to have ability to press "see archived message/post/link/account/etc" button to see what actually were there

Solution

There is great dev apis for internet archive https://archive.org/developers/index-apis.html (also its possible to redirect some api calls through archive instead of reddit, but I'm not sure about legality of this things, just thoughts)

does archive org archives reddit posts / comments afaik reveddit only does it , that only if comment/post is removed by reddti and they do not provide api
