I have used the search function for openandclosed ideas to see if someone else has already submitted the same request.
I will describe the feature with as much detail as possible.
Description
I would love the ability to open things in an entirely new app window. Sync has a feature that allows you to open a new post/sub/user/etc in a new app window. Doing this allows you to seemingly have a second iteration of the app open at the same time. If I wanted to go down a rabbit hole in a secondary iteration, I would be able to still come back to the original app and resume where I left off.
Alternatives
No response
Additional context
Sync users are used to having this. The app has not been updated in a while, and you'll find users looking for a new home. It's an extremely useful feature that I've been using regularly for over a decade.
How important is this feature?
Nice to have
Anything else?
Feel free to reach out for more info. I don't really know how this works on the back end. I can try to submit screenshots or screen recordings if needed.
