Hey everyone,

With the release of version 1.7.1, the Settings menu has been reorganized to enhance usability and provide a more intuitive interface. However, during this process, some options may still need better placement for a smoother user experience.

I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at the current layout and share your feedback. Are there any settings that you think would be better suited in a different section? Let me know your thoughts!

Behavior

Settings that control core functionality and user interaction:

• Theme Mode – Switch between light, dark, or system theme
• Interface Language – Select the preferred language
• Font Family – Customize the font style
• Search Engine – Choose the default search engine

• Auto Open Apps – Open apps automatically after selection

Appearance

Controls visual elements such as text size and padding:

• Show Date – Enable or disable date display
• Show Battery – Display battery percentage
• Show Battery Icon – Toggle battery icon visibility
• Number of Shortcuts – Set the number of shortcuts displayed
• Number of Pages – Configure the number of home screen pages
• Enable Home Pager – Allow scrolling between home screen pages

Apologies for the late response but I'm moving to the countryside and there are so many things to do while I settle.

Right. I know, I'm a piece of shit! I'm sorry, I should have replied to this sooner but.. psychological problems (among other things). I will reply now.

I'm using version 1.8.9 at the moment so I'll give my suggestions based on how the settings are organized here.

This is how I think the menu should be organized.

Also please note that these are somewhat initial suggestions. Small modifications could be made based on if and how many you decide to follow.

1. I hope I did not miss or add any.

2. I have arranged the settings based on how I think a user will want to set a new installation (e.g. They will want to toggle Home Elements first, set their layout second, play with their colors third and finally lock those values.) and on how much I think they are used with the most used at the top (e.g. Date (Toggle)) and the least used at the bottom (e.g. Lock Settings (Toggle)).

3. I have removed the word "Show" because I think that the Toggle option kind of makes it obsolete (e.g. Toggle ON is show element/switch feature on, Toggle OFF is hide element/switch feature off).

4. I have added the word "Home" and "Drawer" here and there for more clarity.

I am still not finished.

I don't know what "Hide Search View (Toggle)" is. I imagine it is a Home Search Bar? I added it to SEARCH as "Home Search (Toggle)". Feel free to change as needed.

If the previous is a Home Search Bar then I decided to change "Search From The Start (Toggle)" to "Drawer Auto Start Search (Toggle)".

I have not used the notes feature yet so I did not change much there.

I don't understand what you mean by this as they are all the same in settings.

If you mean when you go into the fragments that's something totally different the hidden apps will follow the alignment of the app list and favorite is to reorder them so they would stay as they are.

As you can see the Hidden Apps section text is all aligned to the center. The Favorite Apps section text is all aligned to the left. I think it would be nice if all the text from both sections would follow the same alignement.

Favorite Apps doesnt have any alignment in that fragment but Hidden apps it just the app draw with the title renamed but its the same fragment as when you open the app list so it follows that. i could have the title only follow the same alignment but it would be a bit off if you had it as right aligned but the options where left aligned

Oh! Now I understand what you meant by fragment(s). It's tricky then.

Hmm.. all Settings text is aligned to the left except for that fragment. Now that I think about it Hidden Apps section text should be aligned to the left as well. But it sounds like too much trouble for now. It's a minor thing anyway.
