applications\meta\application.fam doesn't exist

Hello! It's probably a dumb question, and I'm a newbie, so forgive me. I'm not finding applications\meta\application.fam. Did the path change during some firmware update?

i think the "meta" in "applications\meta\application.fam" stands for any directory in "applications" like "external" or "main".
But correct me if i am wrong.

Note the backslashes if you are on a Mac or Linux. Change them to forward slashes applications/meta/application.fam.

Going to test this, however, even if it's true is there a more elegant way to add custom app to the start sequence? Do we have to piggyback on the existing apps? Thanks for the answer in advance.
