Display the popup for a feature when it is searched

When you search for a feature to have the map’s display extent and scale change to better reveal it, should a popup also be displayed for it by default?

Would a user consider ‘search’ to be inclusive of just pointing out a feature’s spatial properties, or additionally pointing out its attributes right away as well?
