ScriptPlayer connects to Intiface but shows no device

Intiface Central (v2.6.5+31) has connected to the device (Lovense Gush) and it is controllable there.
After opening ScriptPlayer (v1.2.2) / Devices / Intiface / Connect, a brief message shows "Connecting to Buttplug 1/10".
The Intiface status changes to "ScriptPlayer Connected" and the Intiface log shows Client connected: Scriptplayer.

However, in ScriptPlayer under Devices / Show Devices, no devices appear. Playing a haptic video has no effect on the device.

Unfortunately I have no way of reproducing this.
Maybe clicking "scan for devices" after connecting or connecting the device after connecting ScriptPlayer to Intiface helps

After it fails to connect, clicking "Scan for devices" causes the app to crash to the desktop.
