Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It would be good to add images from Google search that come up for the target word. This would help with learning non-abstract words that can be represented with an image. This would be similar to kanjieater's GoldenDict Toolbelt as seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FAgFC9NYAo&t=227s
Describe the solution you'd like
The existing design is tight on space. I propose adding another image preview container, next to the existing one in the top right corner. After looking up a word and once the image search finishes in the background, VocabSieve would populate the preview with the first image from the search results
The user would be able to choose an image as well: Upon clicking the preview, a new popup will appear showing X top results from Google search. The user can then click on any image from the popup. This will then close the popup immediately, update the preview with the new image, and that image will be added to the card upon creation
Additional context
- When using KOreader vocabuilder, The first image would be added to the note when making cards in bulk
- Image from Google search could be added to the same Image field on the Anki template, as I'm not sure if there's a benefit to keep the manual screenshot separate
