Why you can't get banned by Chevstrap
This page is intended to clarify concerns about Roblox ban waves, especially for those who may encounter misinformation or misleading claims. If you are worried about Chevstrap’s involvement, this page will address your questions.
Ban waves are typically a form of moderation implemented by Roblox against users who violate its Terms of Service (TOS). Roblox uses an internal anti-cheat system to detect unauthorized tools and third-party activity. Whenever someone exploits or abuses the platform, detection is always effective, but ban waves can be delayed. which may lead to misunderstandings such as people mistakenly thinking Chevstrap causes bans.
Unfortunately, misleading information is spreading, and some people are mistakenly blaming Chevstrap. We are not part of the Roblox's moderation team, we are simply the Roblox Launcher, just a tool. Chevstrap also has its own anti-cheat system which can block any modified Roblox client. Don’t worry about claims that Chevstrap will get you banned, they are not true.
Chevstrap uses Fast Flags, which are part of the official Roblox client. These flags are applied by modifying the ClientAppSettings.json file.
Users who violate Roblox’s Terms of Service may still be subject to moderation.
