Create Virtual Container

Creating your Hyper-V container

This is an easy 2 step process. One we will setup our Virtual Switch and Two create the actual container.

1. Open Hyper-V from the start menu
2. Click on Virtual Switch Manager in left hand menu
3. Click on New Virtual Network Switch

4. Choose External as we want to have full access to internet and then press Create Virtual Switch button
5. Now simply name the switch with anything you want like TestServer and then choose your network card from the drop down

Now we will use this to connect to internet and make sure Ubuntu can access the web to download software and update. to see more information on virtual switching in Hyper-V
