Creating your Virtual Switch

Setup your network for use on the guest OS.

1. Open Hyper-V Manager from the start menu
2. Click on Virtual Switch Manager in right hand menu
3. Click on New Virtual Network Switch

4. Choose External as we want to have full access to internet and then press Create Virtual Switch button
5. Now simply name the switch with anything you want like TestServer and then choose your network card from the drop down

Now we will use this to connect to internet and make sure Ubuntu can access the web to download software and update.
