If you discover a security issue in this project, please do not open a public GitHub issue. Instead, report it privately so we can address it responsibly.

We will:
- Confirm receipt of your report within 48 hours.
- Provide a status update withing 7 days.
- Work with you to co-ordinate a fix and disclosure.
- Security issues will be patched in a new release.
- We will credit reporters, if they wish.
- Vulnerabilities may be announced publicly after a fix is released.
