Java FFM wrapper post-merge TODO items

The following is a list of TODO items to track following the merge of the new experimental Java FFM wrapper feature from #5957:

• Review the new VLDataConverter class
• Review new testing specific to FFM wrappers
• Add checking of checksums for files downloaded in https://github.com/HDFGroup/hdf5/pull/5957/files/d122c0de683d2bd870a5a9e25cb2468a9b03e7ba#diff-4fc4a5797087b04d5f63c7a5fca0cffbd2a9fd61faf7bd6b96041230e2cf57f1, among other workflows where applicable
• Rework the ROS3 VFD build and test workflow with regards to how source builds of aws-c-s3 are handled on Windows and MacOS
• Review CMake documentation of the HDF5 build infrastructure, especially release_docs/BuildSystemNotes.md, and rework as necessary, including creating a list of CMake options that can be used when building the library
• Update FFM-only tests to add a finally exception block to close all created ids if an exception could cause a close call to be skipped.
