[Carousel] Selected animation type is not applied

1. Navigate to Carousel > Animations demo
2. Change the Animation type to Fade or None
3. Click the next/previous button

Result: The animation type remains slide.

Expected result: The animation should be switched to whatever was selected in the drop down.
