ksuwebuistandalone is no longer maintained

As of yesterday, ksuwebui standalone has had development stopped. This trickystore addon still defaults to installing ksuwebui standalone however.

It is still working, there is no change in the official KernelSU WebUI so update for ksuwebuistandalone isn't necessary. My webui will adapt ksuwebui as highest priority. Meanwhile webui-x is still under development, I can't ensure it can work on every new webui-x release since it might require adaptation. So currently as ksuwebuistandalone is working, I'll still use it as default webui client for Magisk.

It now has an issue, where Magisk Alpha 30.1 isn't granting it root access after I installed Iconify (and it gave root access to [SharedUID] Android System and [SharedUID] System UI). I disabled Iconify, but the issue persists. Going to Magisk Vanilla 30.1 fixed it. WebUI X is unaffected.

It's an issue that exists in a newer release of Magisk Alpha, and if it's a KsuWebUi issue, it won't be fixed since the project is archived. I think it's relevant because you're installing a broken WebUI as the default, expecting users to use methods that specifically support a retired WebUI.

I'm using latest alpha, no issue encountered so far. Action redirect webui is supported for webuix, you can uninstall KSUWebUIStandalone so it will redirect to webuix.

I know it's not an issue for everyone. I installed a certain Magisk module, and it persisted even after uninstalling it, and only going to Magisk Vanilla fixes it. It's a problem that's only in Magisk Alpha under a certain condition. I'm not sure if it's a Magisk Alpha problem or KsuWebUi problem, but it's only a problem that affects KsuWebUi.

I'm already using WebUI X, I simply wanted KsuWebUi, and since that's no longer an option, I decided to move on. I could even use Magisk Vanilla and not have the problem, but I think the bigger problem is trying to keep using a retired module. Since that's also the default installed in Tricky Addon, that's why I decided to report here.

Yeah but this rationale is then just it's working "for you" as opposed to for everyone. That's still your choice for whatever reason, and others can use WebUI X manually too. I simply reported that it isn't working for everyone.
