Navbar Links Do Not Highlight Active Page

Description:
Currently, when navigating across different pages (e.g., about.html, faq.html, issue.html), the corresponding navbar links are not highlighted to indicate the active page. It would be better because users will know which page they are currently landing on if the come from footer links or somewhere else.

Steps to Reproduce:

• Open the site and navigate to any page through navbar or footer quick links.
• Observe that the correspoding link in the navbar remains unstyled /no highlight.

Expected Behavior:
The navbar should highlight the active link consistently.
