How to implement "Gradual pertification"? #858

🤔 hmm from a code end its likely not that different to do in the effects onTick if we go that route, we have mods to adjust all of those things and then we can full stop after the right number of ticks. need to know how many ticks it takes and if that is variable.
Edit: found a reference on BG that says it is a "20-count period" (confirming clopedia) so either 20 ticks or 20 seconds, and each tick slow movespeed and melee speed a little more. Q: ranged speed? if its -haste it'd still effect magic casts too but not ra. |

The effect exists, and doom has a "counter" tick mechanic in it's effect(gradual petri doesn't have a counter iirc). For gradual petri your character(s) gradually move and attack slower until eventually petrified.
