Some bug fixes are included
(I'm sorry I don't have the full technical capability to assess these - it's a fun area. I have disabled CI in that repo apart from Ubuntu build+test with one C++ compiler. These obviously need very careful scrutiny and extreme care to make sure testing is done for any new code paths. The VMs in GitHub Actions do not have the full capabilities and may not actually be exercising the new code at all)
