Is PyTorch-Lightning a priority anymore?

@williamFalcon Hey there, wondering if PyTorch-Lightning library is still being actively worked on and maintained or has Lightning AI switched focus to something else? I've been noticing the Issues number rising a lot for the past year and many are without any comments from maintainers.

Hey @angadkalra, from my experience contributing to the project, PyTorch Lightning is still maintained, and there’s ongoing activity across issues, PRs, fixes, and releases.

You’re also right that the issue backlog has grown quite a bit over time. Contributors and maintainers continuously try to triage issues/PRs, though response times can vary depending on bandwidth and priorities. We’re also trying to reduce the backlog again so more issues get properly categorized and looked at.

Community contributions are still a big part of the project, especially around reproductions, reviews, fixes, and issue triaging.
