This project presents an interactive Power BI dashboard developed to analyze Blinkit’s sales data and uncover key business insights.
It provides a clear view of sales distribution across outlet types, product categories, fat content levels, and establishment years, supporting data-driven decision making.
- Assess revenue performance across different outlet tiers and sizes
- Compare sales contribution by item fat content and category
- Track sales trends based on outlet establishment year
- Highlight insights to guide inventory planning and outlet strategy
- Total sales: $1.20M across 8,523 items
- Tier 3 outlets recorded the highest sales ($472K)
- Regular fat content items outperformed low-fat items ($776K vs $425K)
- Fruits & Vegetables and Snack Foods were the top-selling categories (~$180K each)
- Sales peaked in 2019 ($205K) before slightly declining in later years
