Row-wise error assignment

Is it possible to assign errors row-wise? That is:

dZxx, dZxy = error_value * |Zxy|
dZyy, dZyx = error_value * |Zyx|

In case of a static shift (i.e. two polarizations have much different amplitudes), this is more meaningful than an off-diagonal mean error.
