How can I get a dialog element name in Ruby ?

In the incoming payload, in $evm.root, you will have that value prefixed with dialog_, so in this case you will see a dialog_testbox_p0_mp.

But if I want to run the same instance of a class for multiple fields. How can I know which of the field invoked this instance ?
Because in evm.root, all the dynamic dialog fields are available, not only the current one ?

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to by instance (could be automate instance or could be a VM instance). However, all of the dialog fields are required to be unique, and there is only one dialog that can be passed into an automation, so, even if you execute multiple instances, there is a unique set of data passed in.

By instance, I refer to automation instance. I will try to explain what I try to achieve :

For exemple, I have 3 fields in my dialog named like the following:

• user_name
• user_surname
• user_age

Each fields are calling the same automation instance that is executing a simple Ruby method.
In my Ruby method, I want to know which field is currently invoking the method so that I can prefill these fields with the correct information like so:

• user_name = A Name
• user_surname = A Surname
• user_age = An Age

How can I achieve that ?
