It would be useful to be able to control the toggleGroup method from foreign livewire components

I attempted to merge your previous upgrade efforts and filled in some holes.
It's probably pretty rough around the edges, but it was enough to help me upgrade an old application to Laravel 12 / Livewire 3 :)
