Action on or produce solutions for "extension exercises"

All notebooks in session 3 have "extension exercises" for the reader, however most of these are recognized as desired improvements to the notebooks themselves. The improvements to the notebooks should be made, and exercises that test the reader in a helpful way should replace the current exercises. All exercises should have a solution for the reader to compare to
