SOB (Super Optimal Broth) medium

Mix the following components:

• 20 g/L Tryptone
• 5 g/L Yeast extract
• 0.5 g/L NaCl
• 1 mL/L KCl 2.5 M

Autoclave, cool to room temperature and add 10 ml of sterile solution of 1M MgCl2 before use.
