fllow
is a PowerShell script
to support "Fluent log on to Windows"
or "Fluent launching apps on Windows".
fllow
starts registered apps' shortcuts sequentially
without CPU usage overloads.
- Put
fllow.ps1
to your folder - Create sub-folder
01_shortcuts
under the folder which hasfllow.ps1
- Put shortcuts to launch into
01_shortcuts
And invoke fllow.ps1
by PowerShell.
Applications which have put their shortcuts into 01_shortcuts
will be launched sequentially without CPU usage overloads.
It can be improve your logon experience
to put application shortcuts into 01_shortcuts
instead of your startup folder and
register fllow.ps1
to your startup folder.
Applications will be launched in num-alphabetical order by shortcuts' name.
Add numerical prefix like as 00_
to shortcuts' name.
Application which has least number in its prefix
will be launched at first,
and application which has most number in its prefix
will be launched at last.
Applications will be launched in num-alphabetical order by shortcuts' name. So numerical prefix in shortcuts' name can control launch order perfectly.
00_MicrosoftTeams.lnk
01_Outlook.lnk
02_Chrome.lnk
In this example, Teams will be launched at first, Outlook will be launched next, and Chrome will be launched at last.
