Most things in the game is done via commands you type. For example, if you wish to access a the Pawn Shop building's shop, you have to type: /shop pawn shop.
You can see a list of all commands if you type /commandlist in game.
If you want to see what parameters a command requires, eg. /heal at a hospital, simply type the command without any parameters. Important Note: Not all commands require parameters. If no parameters are required, the command will be executed.
You can interact with structures, npcs and other players. If you want to see more information about a structure, simply click on its name.
You can also communicate with other players in a couple of different ways (without the <>):

/global <message>: will send a message to the global chat, which is visible to everyone on the server. -
/say <message>: will send a message only to those in the same location as you (eg. in North 5 / East 8). -
/whisper <player name> <message>: will send a private message to the specified player -
/faction <message>: will send a message only to those within your factions.
