I have setup the following on my test server. I installed nginx proxy manager on docker and connected it with two networks.
A standard bridge network which I called external, and an isolated network called internal. As a test I created a Wordpress site, which I connected to the internal network. Created the proxy in nginx proxy manager and added a certificate.
And it works.
My question is if this indeed adds to the security of my server, or that it is a false sense of security.
