I'd like to request support for integrating the SMA Sunny Boy Storage 2.5 (SBS 2.5) battery inverter into OpenEMS via Modbus TCP (Speedwire).
There is evidence that the SBS 2.5 is controllable via Modbus TCP, and the EVCC project has successfully implemented support for reading values and controlling charging/discharging. Therefore, I believe it should be feasible to implement this functionality in OpenEMS as well.
What is already known:
Modbus TCP is available on port 502; default Unit ID is 3.
Modbus registers for power control and SoC are documented and implemented in EVCC.
