Plate naming convention should be updated to say wellplate, not DWP/MTP/MWP

because as per our discussion (a long time ago), it's ambiguous what constitutes a "deep" well plate vs "microtiter" vs "multiwell" etc.

we just have

• troughplate
• wellplate
• more?

after this change, we should rename all DWP etc to wellplate etc.

codex can easily do this and add nice deprecation warnings

by including volume_per_container & throughput in the name we reveal logical information about the container, but I think there is a good reason to include the intended purpose of the container obviously in the name: to enhance discover-ability

here is my convention for plate type:
DWP (deepwell plates) contain liquid in a mostly vertical volume and spillover is possible with pipettes plunged all the way into liquid
MTP (microtiter plates) for all low-height tissue culture plates optimized for gas exchanges
RES (reservoirs) allow multiple channels per well for reagent storage
PCR have conical sections designed specifically to fit into thermocyclers (have limited compatibility for different well geometries). some are especially reinforced to stay flat when used on top of magnetic separation blocks
IMG have especially flat bottoms at consistent z height designed for high throughput imaging but are otherwise identical to MTP
