Great fix, but it would be better to move the ui to the left by default as to not cover blue marble ui

... what does this do? neither the PR nor the commit names are very descriptive and glancing at the diff makes it look like a vibe-coded refactor of some sorts?

I went through it all on my fork, it is all done using AI and is quite bad code, so took me time to clean up, it was supposedly fixing compatibility issues, but I then tested with another overlay than the two I already tested with and it broke again, so it kinda fails
the UI is better tho, but I'll try to change it in a PR myself

honestly the ui feels to crammed for my liking but i can see people like it. might make that an option

also, funnily enough, besides the unmaintainable AI code; this PR seems to break configs epic overlay pro fork which is what i use as overlay
