Is there a way to delete all records in a table?

We are trying to delete all records in a table:

Get-ServiceNowRecord -Table $TableName | Remove-ServiceNowRecord -Confirm:$false

However, the above only returns and deletes the first 10 records. Is there a way to do this in one go?

Hi @DarkLite1. By default, Get-ServiceNowRecord only brings back 10 records. You can use -IncludeTotalCount to get them all. This was not the original intent of this standard paging parameter and on the backlog to be updated.

Thank you for the tip, it does indeed work. But I was wondering if there was a way to send a single API call to the ServiceNow API that would simply clear the table completely, without requesting the current records first?

Something like Clear-ServiceNowTable -Name $TableName

I don't believe that's possible.

I was hoping that Invoke-ServiceNowGraphQL or New-ServiceNowQuery would have a way of doing this. Anyhow, thanks for your help.

The issue is that we have 1301 records in the table. When we pipe them one by one to Remove-ServiceNowRecord -Confirm:$false, we get the error message Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host..

Example:

Get-ServiceNowRecord -Table $TableName -IncludeTotalCount -First 300 | # retrieve in batches of 300
Remove-ServiceNowRecord -Confirm:$false
