Built-in tunneling feature for publicising maps

I wonder if I could find some self-hostable tunneling software, slap it onto a cheap VPS, and put it in
So people can share their maps much more easily, than by having to deal with firewalls and port forwarding

Though, If I were to do that, I would want to start asking for donations a bit more actively
Maybe every time you click the "share public link to map" button, it'll show a popup with the link, but also a "please donate" notice

I think I will make it so that this feature will require payment to use at all.

I will sell keys on some website, and those will be pasted in the global program settings.
Yes, keys can be shared like this. No, I don't care.

Keys will be able to be bought for a few timeframes, but NOT unlimited.
Something like this, perhaps:
(ALL THESE NUMBERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ESPECIALLY BEFORE RELEASE.)

• 1 Month: €5
• 3 Months: €10
• 6 Months: €15
• 1 Year: €20

In the settings, it must also be possible to disable the Share button from showing up in the project view.
Something that requires payment should be able to be hidden.
It may be visible by default, though.

I have been notified that taking payment for features is a bad idea, in regards to legal stuff, so I guess I'll keep it free, and just put the donation request in there.
I'll allow the donation request to be disabled in the settings.

But apparently even when keeping it free, with optional donations, I might have to start filling out tax forms based on that... :/
