I suspect you're not actually testing against the latest version.

I haven't checked the log, but the failures you mention were recent additiions in Textual. Considering all tests are passing in Textual's CI, have you checked your envrionment?

Sorry, my bad, the previous version was installed.

14 cases still failed when I removed it:

When I re-ran the tests once more, 16 tests failed.

This means that there might be race conditions, etc.
